There is a well known canadian company that is a growing manufacturer of farm equipment.

Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the company is looking for a qualified Design Engineer in the area of Seeding & Tillage

 

Number of Positions: 1 permanent full time

 

Wage: $50,000 - $90,000/ per year.

(You may can have a face to face interview with the employer in early may)

 

Job Duties:

Development of new and current seeding and tillage designs

Product improvement, cost reduction

Coordinate Prototype development & testing 

Design parts and assemblies, update existing drawings

Act as a resource to service and sales personnel with technical inquiries

Assist junior engineers/designers to resolve engineering issues

 

 

Skill requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural/Bio systems Engineering or related field

Minimum of 5 - 10 years mechanical design experience in Seeding & Tillage equipment

Experience using Inventor (or similar  CAD system)

Strong technical capability; ability to work well in a team environment 

Ability to manage multiple projects
